Surgical Operation

Getting the perfect doctor

Your first priority is to find a reputable surgeon who is a specialist in the field. The smart thing is to choose a doctor with good credentials, verifiable license, many years of experience and references. This is the only thing that can guarantee a lower risk of side effects, satisfactory result and less need for a revision surgery. Internet search, online forums and association websites are places where you can shop for the perfect surgeon for your nose surgery.

How much it will cost

Before you go for surgery make sure you know how much it will cost. Not having this knowledge can lead to very devastating situations that you won’t like at all. The cost for a rhinoplasty, however, is determined by many factors. This includes your location, the facility or hospital where the operation will take place, the extent of the operation and how experienced the surgeon is.

How long it will take for full recovery

Depending on the type or extent of the procedure, the time for full recovery can be anything from ten months to 15 months. However, the initial relief period is just about two to four weeks. Before going for surgery, make sure you have the time for recovery and ask your doctor for more accurate detail about full recovery time.

Dealing with looking different

You’re going to look different after your surgical procedure. Prepare your mind for this and discuss it with your doctor so you may be able to handle the physiological impact.

Prepare for bruises and swelling and be ready to confront a life with a transformed part of your body. You will adjust that is for sure. When you do, it will all be fun and happy. To sum it all up, it’s important to remember these points when looking for the best rhinoplasty surgeon in Arizona. But if you take your time and do well, then everything should work out just fine.

My Rhinoplasty Experience

Growing up I can almost exclusively remember throughout my entire life being filled with sorrow and a massive amount of insecurity because of the way that I looked in my younger years. I would often ask myself “Why couldn’t I have been made prettier?” To me, it didn’t feel fair that there were so many people in this world that were beautiful and at the time I didn’t feel like one of them. Looking back at it now, I know that thinking was faulty and have since adjusted my mindset for the better which has ultimately led to a much more satisfying way of life.

This has contributed to me having many more positive relationships with others and overall just given me a happier and more content lifestyle. However, at the time I was filled with insecurities. One of those being the way my nose looked. I felt that it could look better and so I decided from an early age on that i wanted to save up money to eventually afford the operation. I didn’t want to have to take out a loan and make payments on it so I saved for years so that I could simply pay for all of it in cash and be debt free.

It wasn’t easy but I eventually did it and looking back, I don’t regret my decision one bit. There was of course was much apprehension undergoing it, but fortunately my doctor was very patient with me and my requests, and did a wonderful job of making me feel as comfortable as I could. I had built so much anticipation on it that I wanted to make sure it was done right. Years later, I’ve come to realize that our appearance is not the root of everything but rather how we are on the inside.
